I hesitated about posting this recap. One because I honestly feel like it has been one of the worst years for the world as I have know it in 44 years: full of cruelty, violence, hate and climate disasters. Two because seeing all of that everyday on our screens has certainly taken a toll on my mental health. Three because I feel guilty for even saying I struggle when I know so many people (and kids!) around the world have it way way worse.

But pain is pain.
And I am done pretending or lying just to protect other people’s expected discomfort.

So here it is. 2024 was not actually that bad to me personally - especially once I leaned into needing extra mental health support. But also, my brain has been with Gaza’s civilians most of the time, and this reel was the best way I can represent how it felt. May 2025 bring peace and kindness to all. #freepalestine #bye2024 #endthegenocide
